We are recruiting for a Part-Time Community Engagement Coordinator to join our skilled team of pediatric professionals. This position is benefits eligible.  

Position Summary:

Weisman Children’s is looking for a passionate, collaborative Community Engagement Coordinator to help connect families and referral sources to our full spectrum of pediatric services — with a special focus on Medical Day Care and Outpatient Programs.

In this role, you’ll be the face of Weisman Children’s across our community, building meaningful relationships with physicians, schools, social agencies, and other key stakeholders. You’ll work to grow awareness, increase referrals, and help ensure more children and families have access to our exceptional care.

What You’ll Do:

Grow Awareness & Referrals

• Build and maintain relationships with community partners, including doctors, hospitals, schools, and local organizations
• Represent Weisman Children’s at community events, professional meetings, and outreach activities; occasional nights and weekends required
• Plan and conduct in-person visits and strategic outreach across your assigned territory
• Collaborate with the Communications team to develop and distribute marketing materials

Engage & Communicate

• Clearly explain and promote our service lines, ensuring referral sources understand who we serve and how we help
• Provide thoughtful feedback from the community to our leadership, helping shape future services
• Facilitate connections between community members and our internal teams to create a seamless referral experience

Track & Report Progress

• Use our CRM system to track outreach, plan follow-ups, and document referral activity
• Monitor growth goals, identify trends, and present updates to leadership
• Offer insights and ideas that help strengthen programs and outreach strategy

What You Bring:

·         Bachelor’s degree required (Public Health, Human Services or related discipline preferred)

·         3+ years of experience in community outreach, healthcare marketing, or referral development preferred

·         Proven success building partnerships with physician offices, government or community programs, schools, and/or agencies

·         Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred — many of the families and communities we serve are Spanish-speaking

·         Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills

·         Passionate about engaging with families and community partners across diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds, including urban and underserved areas

·         Comfortable with CRM platforms and data tracking

·         Strong organizational skills and a proactive, self-directed work style

·         A strategic, creative mindset and a passion for community impact
