The parent liaison implements and manages school-wide parenting initiatives and activities to empower parents to become positive active participants in the education of their children in alignment to the school goals. Supports the principal and school leadership in documentation of parental involvement. This position reports to the Principal or designee.

Requirements / Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in related field or 2 years total professional experience in Community Outreach, Community Relations, or Community Schools. Able to perform some evening student recruitment and/or evening meetings; occasionally working on Saturday and/or Sunday. Knowledge and/or experience in project management, program development, organizing, prioritizing, coordinating, implementing, and managing multiple programs, projects, tasks and building teams required. Strong autonomy, reliable, responsible, dependable and willingness to take on responsibilities and challenges. Proficient level of skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other technology applications. Ability to travel performance of job duties is required.
