Description
Looking for a meaningful, ongoing volunteer experience? The City of Dublin offers volunteer opportunities at two of our most cherished community sites - Dublin Heritage Park & Museum and the Dublin Senior Center. We also welcome volunteers with unique skills and interests through our General Interest application.
Commitment: Ongoing, typically a set day and shift each week
Minimum Age: 14+
Roles Available: Heritage Park & Museum, Dublin Senior Center, General Interest
Fingerprinting: Required for volunteers 18 and older who work with youth, seniors, or vulnerable populations

THE SELECTION PROCESS
The best qualified candidates whose background and experience most closely meet the City's current needs will be invited to participate in an interview/oral board. In addition, the selection process may consist of written and/or oral components. The City reserves the right to test an applicant in any other manner to determine suitability and to alter any aspect of the selection process. Meeting the minimum requirements listed in this job description does not guarantee advancement in subsequent phases of the selection process.
Candidates who successfully complete the interview process may be placed on an employment eligibility list. This list may be canceled at any time, without notice to candidates. I understand that volunteers who are 18 years of age or older and serve with youth, seniors, or other vulnerable populations are required to successfully complete a Live Scan fingerprint background check before beginning volunteer service. I acknowledge this requirement and understand that City staff will provide instructions and scheduling assistance if a Live Scan is required for my volunteer assignment.

Please note: Senior Center: Open Monday-Friday, 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. Volunteers are typically assigned 2-4 hour shifts during these hours. Heritage Park & Museum: Volunteer hours vary based on the time of year and program needs. Please describe your preferred volunteer schedule.
