Team Gilbert has an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated professional to fill the position of Community Risk Reduction (CRR) Educator - Limited Term Agreement (LTA). The CRR Educator - LTA is the front-line teaching professional within the Community Risk Reduction Division, responsible for analyzing community risk data and using it to plan, develop, and directly deliver targeted, evidence-based fire and life safety education programs to the populations and settings where data identifies the greatest need. The CRR Educator works collaboratively with CRR Team members and Fire Department staff to ensure that programs are grounded in data and measurably reduce fire, injury, and life safety risks for the residents, businesses, and visitors of Gilbert.
The CRR Educator - LTA reports to the CRR Manager. The primary job duties of this position include:

This position is an At-Will position and is FLSA Non-Exempt - eligible for overtime compensation. This position requires a pre-employment physical and/or drug screen.
This position has been designated as a Medium work position. Click here to learn more about the different physical exertion levels as defined by the Social Security Administration. Work is performed in a variety of environments, including office settings, community locations (schools, congregate care facilities, event spaces, senior centers), and occasionally at emergency scenes. Employees must be able to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.
