THE GOLD STANDARD IN COMPASSES & TRANSITS, MADE IN THE USA
In 2021, Brunton was purchased by the inventors of the Axis Transit, and leadership was brought back home to Riverton, Wyoming where manufacturing has taken place for 50 years. For the first time since its founding in 1894, Brunton is a woman-owned, geologist-led, family business. By making the world's most reliable compasses, we inspire, educate, and support professional and outdoor field pursuits and envision a world where everyone can find their direction.
