Job Description
Our client, a well-known Union, is in need of a potential temporary-to-hire Compensation Analyst in their Midtown Manhattan office. They are conveniently located near Penn Station. This position is onsite, Monday through Friday 9am-5pm. It is a long-term temporary position, with potential for temporary-to-direct hire.
Job Responsibilities
· Administration of compensation programs, including base pay administration, market pricing, salary reviews, salary grades and ranges, salary adjustments, position reclassifications, and related compensation activities in alignment with established policies and procedures.
· Perform research and analysis to ensure compensation programs and practices remain effective and compliant with organizational standards.
· Perform salary reviews, analyzing outcomes to ensure internal equity and adherence to established compensation practices.
· Track, calculate, and process scheduled salary actions such as probationary, step, and longevity increases, in accordance with applicable Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBAs), policies, and procedures.
· Job analysis, job evaluation, and market pricing of positions using internal compensation data and external market resources as appropriate.
· Create and maintain compensation reports, metrics, and analytical tools to support compensation analysis, reporting, forecasting, and budgeting in accordance with organizational requirements.

Qualifications
· Two (2) years+ of compensation experience and Bachelor's Degree
· Experience developing and implementing compensation infrastructure, including job evaluation, market pricing, salary structures, and benchmarking.
