  • Support annual and mid-year compensation processes, including merit increases, promotional increases, market adjustments, and incentive planning.
  • Assist with the administration and analysis of short-term and long-term incentive programs, as applicable.
  • Participate in compensation surveys and analyze survey results to identify market trends and potential impacts to our client’s compensation programs.
  • Perform salary and workforce analyses to identify pay trends, compression, internal equity considerations, and other compensation issues.
  • Develop compensation models, reports, spreadsheets, and presentations to support compensation decisions.
  • Partner with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, HRIS, Payroll, Finance, and business leaders on compensation-related matters.
  • Provide guidance to HR and managers regarding compensation programs, salary ranges, job levels, and compensation practices.
  • Maintain accurate compensation documentation, job information, salary structures, and supporting analysis.
  • Support the development and maintenance of compensation policies, procedures, guidelines, manager resources, and employee communications.
  • Assist with job architecture and career-leveling activities, including evaluating roles against established career frameworks.
  • Research compensation practices and market trends and recommend improvements to existing programs and processes.
  • Support compensation compliance activities and help ensure compensation practices are administered consistently with applicable policies and requirements.
  • Lead or participate in compensation projects and process-improvement initiatives.
  • Serve as a compensation resource for colleagues and provide support or guidance to less-experienced team members as appropriate.
  • Perform other compensation and total rewards responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

  • Approximately 4–7 years of compensation, total rewards, HR analytics, or related experience preferred.
  • Working knowledge of compensation principles and practices, including market pricing, salary structures, job evaluation, salary administration, and incentive compensation.
  • Experience working with compensation survey data and market-pricing methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret large data sets and identify meaningful trends.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including formulas, lookups, pivot tables, and data analysis.
  • Experience with HRIS and compensation systems preferred.
  • Ability to independently evaluate compensation issues, identify potential solutions, and develop well-supported recommendations.
