The Complex Program Manager is at the helm of delivering value-add transformative programs for Kyndryl with ultimate mission to deliver a truly extraordinary outcome for our customers and propel our business to new heights. This role manages all aspects of a program characterized with high levels of complexity, uncertainty, and ambiguity to deliver the desired outcome to all stakeholders. Understands the interdependencies, interactions, and dynamics of the projects, partners and stakeholders within the program and the external environment, including contractual commitments and regulatory requirements. Manages risk and uncertainty by identifying, assessing, and mitigating factors affecting the program's performance and outcomes. Defines and drives program governance to monitor and evaluate program performance and adapts the program as needed to properly account for changes in requirements or the program environment. Manages the expectations and needs of varying levels of stakeholder personas through an effective communication strategy.
The Complex Program Manager leads and manages multiple cross-functional projects that span across our different business units, geographies, and technologies. By managing the project managers leading each interconnected project, this role will ensure that the projects are aligned with the strategic objectives of the organization, delivered on time, within budget, and with high quality. Equipped with the power of data and analysis, this leader also possesses the unique ability to predict, understand, and influence the outcomes of each project. Strategic foresight will fuel effective decision-making, as this role navigates the intricate complexities of interconnected projects establishing objective and milestone commitments, and ensuring budgets and time requirements are appropriately defined. Role will successfully deliver the scope of each program by assembling and leading an E2E team with the required skills and providing ongoing direction and coaching to project managers and technical teams across all actors. Decisions will have a resounding impact across projects and secure successful program outcomes while overseeing the coordination, communication, and collaboration among the project teams, partners, customer teams, stakeholders, and sponsors.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Governance: Define program vision and success criteria aligned with corporate / customer strategy. Provide board-level updates and influence executive decision-making.
End-to-End Service Integrator: leadership and active collaboration across all actors in the program, even when not explicitly contracted
Global Transformation: Drive multi-million-dollar portfolios across geographies, ensuring compliance with regulatory and contractual obligations.
Risk & Issue Management: Establish risk governance frameworks and oversee mitigation strategies.
Financial Stewardship: Own program P&L, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost optimization.
Stakeholder Engagement: Build trusted relationships with C-suite executives, board members, global regulators, and strategic partners. This involves driving customer satisfaction and achieving a strong NPS.
Innovation & Change Leadership: Champion digital transformation, sustainability initiatives, and cultural change at scale.
Board-Level Responsibilities: Participate in CxO executive level meetings, present program performance, risks, and strategic recommendations.

The Complex Program Manager is good at what he/she does and knows how to apply own expertise to new challenges, is a confident analytical person, resilient under pressure, and can effectively evaluate alternate points of view and trade-offs to reach solutions. Required Skills and Experience

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in project and program management, preferably in complex and large-scale environments up to $100m of TCV and distributed teams of between 50-200+ FTE.

• PMP certification or an approved equivalent project management certification in good standing.

• PgMP certification in good standing - or - commit to pursue within 12 months

• Prior experience working as a PM for an enterprise software vendor/SaaS vendor, or a technology consultancy firm.

• Proven track record of successfully managing complex IT projects and programs, preferably in a services business, with experience of collaborating with customers across multiple industries.

• Proven ability to align key stakeholders, all actors, manage projects through milestones, and ensure all projects are on schedule and in budget.

• Proficiency in communicating and presenting program plans and status with management as well as monitoring and measuring the engineering impact and performance results by tracking key performance indicators.

• Ability to oversee the successful planning and execution of programs (and associated projects) that positively impact a company's innovation, production, and revenue goals.

• Experience in identifying and tracking dependent tasks across projects, proactively identifying and mitigating risks related to dependencies, and guiding effective staffing choices to leverage expertise and/or knowledge between projects.

• Proficiency in cross-functional collaboration, analyzing and eliciting requirements, solution design and delivery, and price negotiation.

• Proficiency in establishing program governance and management systems, managing interdependencies of various projects to develop a master schedule, cost benefit assessment and trade-off decisions, and asset and resource prioritization

• Ability to thrive in a dynamic agile environment, adapting to changing priorities while remaining focused on the outcome, thinking strategically, analytically, and creatively.

• Expertise in cost management, scope management, change control, and overall project governance.

• Knowledge of business intelligence, data analysis, dashboards, business intelligence reporting, business metrics, and operational reporting.

• Proven track record delivering successful programs that meet strategic objectives, scope, schedule, budget, and quality requirements while adapting to changing priorities, demands, and challenges.

• Strong knowledge and experience in applying project and program management methodologies, frameworks, and tools.

• Ability to influence, negotiate, and resolve conflicts at all levels of the organization while leading, motivating, and inspiring

• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related field.

• Domain expertise in one or more core industries e.g. Financial Services, Retail.

• Project Management certification PRINCE2 (Projects IN Controlled Environments).

• Strong communication skills.

• Senior stakeholder management to C-suite level

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban), Project planning (e.g., Mpp) and DevOps practices.

• Experience in managing vendor relationships and contracts.

• Ability to renegotiate program commercials with senior stakeholders (as required)
