Summary: The Compliance Intern will work with the Compliance team to support the department with projects that ensure the bank operates within regulatory guidelines.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Assist with monitoring and reviewing internal policies, procedures, and practices for compliance with federal and state banking regulations.Support the tracking and documentation of compliance testing and audit findings.Research regulatory updates and help summarize impacts for bank operations.Participate in reviewing customer files and documentation to ensure accuracy and adherence to compliance standards.Assist in preparing compliance reports and presentations for management.Help maintain compliance training records and assist with employee training initiatives.Provide administrative support to the compliance team as needed.All other duties as assigned.Job Qualifications: A Junior or Senior currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Law, or related field.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work with sensitive and confidential information with integrity.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).Interest in financial services, risk management, or regulatory compliance preferred.Waterford Bank, N.A. is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer.
