Title: CT Technologist
Location: Rome Georgia 30165
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: 12hr Night Shift - 36
Shift Information: F/S/S 7p-7a
Clinical Interviewing- Yes, with manager approval to offer
On Call, Call Back Requirements: None
Weekend Rotation: Weekend position
Holiday Requirements: Could be placed in a holiday rotation, but would not be expected to work all holidays
Floating Requirements: None
About Facility:
- 361 licensed beds
- Level 2 Trauma Designation
- Teaching Hospital: Yes, Residency Program
- Chest Pain Center
- Stroke Center
- Beds: 2 CT scanners
- Census: average 120 in a 24h period
Will you accept a first-time traveler: Yes
Patient Types/Common Diagnoses:
- Infants (rare) – geriatrics
- Head/neck/spine, extremities, CTAs for PE, heavy stroke population, traumas, general CT (N/V, headache, abdominal pain)
- BLS
- ARRT-CT, no state license
- Experience with above patient types
- Comfortable transferring patients from stretcher to bed
- EPIC experience
- Siemens CT equipment experience (Sumara 7 software platform)
- Transport (assist with transferring patients)
- At least 1 other CT Techs at all times
- Rad Techs in department for support if needed
- Manager/Supervisor during weekdays
- Lead Tech
- Rapid Response/Code Team
- Radiologist during weekdays. Radiologist group will read offsite afterhours
- Technology/Equipment:
- EMR: EPIC – experience required
- PACS: Philips View (not required), IntellaRad (not required)
- Unit specific equipment: Siemens Drive CT equipment – experience required.
Orientation (facility and unit):
- NEO
- 2-4 shifts of department orientation
- Weekend rotation: dependent on requisition
- On call: No
- Holiday Expectations: could be placed in holiday rotation. Would not be scheduled to work all holidays
- Approval of RTO: to go through manager
- Shift times: dependent on requisition
- Schedule cycle: will be on mostly set schedule
- Scrub Color: Black
