Title: Computer Support Specialists
Duration: 2 years
Location: Jamaica, NY 11434
Shift Timings: Mon-Fri (8:30am to 4:30pm)
Pay: USD 22/hr-USD 24/hr

Position summary:
Provide technical support and assistance to end users experiencing hardware, software, and system-related issues. Respond to user inquiries through phone, email, remote access, or in-person support to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems efficiently.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical assistance and support for computer systems, hardware, software, and peripheral devices.
  • Respond to user inquiries and troubleshoot issues in person, via telephone, email, or remote access tools.
  • Install, configure, test, and maintain computer hardware, software, printers, and operating systems.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to desktop systems, applications, email, and network connectivity.
  • Monitor system performance and respond to operating and error messages..
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in technical support, help desk, or desktop support environment.
  • Knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, software applications, and peripheral devices.
  • Experience troubleshooting Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues independently.
Preferred Qualification:
  • Experience with Active Directory, VPN support, remote desktop tools, and mobile device support.
  • Knowledge of IT service management processes and ticketing platforms such as ServiceNow or Jira.
  • Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across multiple software platforms.
  • Experience in customer-facing technical support environments.
