Concrete Pump Operator - CDL A

Starting at $70K+ Salary (Negotiable Based on Experience) + Company Truck

An established and growing Nebraska-based construction company is seeking a Concrete Pump Operator to join its team in Grand Island, NE. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced operator or someone with a strong CDL and heavy equipment background looking to learn a specialized trade with paid training provided.

Summary:
Operate concrete pump trucks safely and efficiently at construction sites throughout Nebraska.
Perform pre-trip/post-trip inspections, routine maintenance, and basic equipment repairs.
Assist mechanics with equipment maintenance and transport equipment between job sites when not pumping.
Primarily Monday Friday schedule with occasional Saturday mornings and minimal overnight travel.
Work closely with construction crews to ensure safe, efficient concrete placement.

Benefits Include:
Starting salary of $70K+, negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
Company truck provided for commuting to and from work.
Additional $100 compensation for any Saturday pumping jobs.
Comprehensive hands-on training provided for candidates without concrete pumping experience.
Primarily local and statewide projects with very limited overnight travel.

Preferred Qualifications:
Valid Class A CDL with air brakes required.
Previous concrete pump operation experience preferred but not required.
Strong CDL driving experience and/or heavy equipment operating background.
Mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform basic maintenance and troubleshoot equipment.
Strong work ethic, safety awareness, and willingness to work extended hours during peak construction season.

This is a full-time, direct-hire opportunity with the company from day one.
