Compensation:
Pay Range:$95,000-$130,000 Per Year
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced professional to support our Gas, Power & Emissions group.
This full-time position is based in Houston, TX and involves managing both physical and financial commodity confirmations.
The role requires expertise in drafting, reviewing, and reconciling trade confirmations to ensure accuracy in contractual terms.
A strong understanding of derivatives and the ability to resolve discrepancies independently are essential.
Key Responsibilities
Draft, review, and execute confirmations for commodity transactions.
Support derivatives in natural gas, power, emissions, and crude oil.
Handle OTC derivatives including swaps and options.
Reconcile trade recaps and system bookings.
Communicate with traders and counterparties to resolve issues.
Qualifications
1-4 years of experience in trade confirmations or derivatives operations.
Hands-on experience with drafting and validating trade confirmations.
Working knowledge of OTC derivatives and trade lifecycle.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent communication skills and problem-solving abilities.
