Summary: The Conservation Assistant is responsible for assisting customers with program participation, processing program requests, and supporting program implementation. The Conservation Assistant reports to the Conservation Manager and is not responsible for supervising other employees.
Responsibilities:
Assists customers via phone with requests to participate in conservation programs and forwards requests to vendors and contractors;
Processes conservation kit requests and mails kits to customers;
Assists in reviewing customer program applications to determine eligibility;
Processes in-house customer mailings;
Maintains supply inventory for programs;
Digitizes and organizes customer applications and other departmental information;
Prepares written and verbal reports regarding program activity;
Operates a computer and office related equipment to fulfill job responsibilities;
Other duties may be assigned to fulfill business operational needs and objectives.
Qualifications:
High school diploma.
Knowledge of applicable State, Federal and local laws and regulations.
Ability to perform basic mathematic functions to calculate figures and analyze results.
Ability to organize work to meet changing schedules and high-pressure situations.
Ability to use logical and creative thought processes to develop solutions according to written specifications and/or verbal instructions.
Excellent interpersonal skills, enthusiasm, and commitment to outstanding customer service.
Must be proficient in personal computer skills including Microsoft Office and CC&B

Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate or annual salary only, unless otherwise stated.
