Job Summary

The Construction Support Specialist provides essential administrative support to the Grid Investment Construction (GIC) team, assisting with invoice auditing, financial tracking, contract administration, and project coordination. This role ensures accuracy, efficiency, and compliance in managing construction-related documentation and financial processes.

Key Responsibilities

Financial & Invoice Management

  • Audit and reconcile invoices for Grid Investment programs to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Coordinate with GIC contractors and inspectors to verify invoices have proper supporting documentation.
  • Prepare monthly accruals for Grid Investment programs.
  • Track project expenses and assist in budget management.

Project Coordination & Documentation

  • Assist in the organization and maintenance of construction-related documentation.
  • Support the Team Leader in contract administration tasks.
  • Participate in the review and analysis of project data and metrics, including production reports and status updates.

Qualifications

Required Skills & Experience

  • Construction project management and/or construction administrative experience required.
  • Intermediate (or greater) proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.

Preferred Experience (a Plus, but Not Required)

  • Experience with CAMP, JETS, Fiber, Distribution, or Utility operations.
