Construction Assistant Project Manager - Manhattan, NY
Assist Project Managers with the planning, coordination, and execution of commercial interior construction projects. Manage project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, change orders, and meeting minutes. Coordinate with subcontractors, architects, consultants, and clients throughout the project lifecycle. Track project schedules, budgets, and procurement activities to ensure successful project delivery. Support buyout processes, vendor management, and material procurement. Participate in site meetings and assist with resolving project challenges. Monitor project progress and help maintain quality, safety, and schedule requirements. Prepare project reports and maintain accurate project records.

The Successful Applicant
A successful Construction Assistant Project Manager should have:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred.
- 1-4 years of experience with a general contractor, construction management firm, or subcontractor.
- Experience working on commercial interiors, tenant fit-outs, corporate office, or renovation projects preferred.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Eagerness to learn, take ownership, and develop into a Project Manager role.
