Assistant Project ManagerOur client is a well-established New York City-based general contractor specializing in public works projects, including transit infrastructure and educational facilities. With a proven track record delivering high-profile MTA and SCA projects, they are known for their collaborative culture, strong client relationships, and commitment to quality and safety.Job DescriptionAssist in managing all phases of construction projects from pre-construction through closeoutCoordinate with owners, subcontractors, consultants, and government agencies (MTA/SCA)Support project scheduling, budgeting, and cost control activitiesReview and track submittals, RFIs, change orders, and project documentationEnsure compliance with public agency regulations, safety protocols, and contractual requirementsParticipate in site meetings, progress reporting, and stakeholder communicationHelp monitor project milestones, risks, and quality standardsMaintain accurate records and support project reporting systemsMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
