The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of experience with construction law and litigation in a sophisticated law firm setting. A professional background in the construction industry prior to attending law school is strongly preferred.The firm offers excellent mentorship and professional development for associate attorneys, a collegial atmosphere, flexible/hybrid work environment, and top of market compensation.Responsibilities Represent construction industry clients (contractors, developers, owners) in disputes arising over commercial construction projects, construction defect claims, and other complex construction disputes.Review, draft, and advise clients on construction contracts, including AIA contracts.Conduct legal research and writing; manage discovery; draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.Qualifications Juris Doctorate from a highly regarded law school with excellent academic credentialsAdmission to Tennessee bar in good standing, or ability to become licensed in TennesseeStrong communication and interpersonal skillsConstruction industry background preferredPlease apply below to be considered for this position.
