Construction Civil Engineering Intern

We invest in our employees and build relationships that last.\n \nAs a result of our expansive growth, we have a position available for a limited-term, full-time civil engineering intern to work in the construction field on airport projects based in De Pere, WI (greater Green Bay area) starting in May/June 2027 and ending in August/September 2027. \n \nThis intern will be responsible for assisting engineers, technicians, and surveyors with civil engineering projects in the following areas:\n\n Assisting engineers, technicians, and surveyors with civil airport projects including taxiways, runways, aprons, etc.\n Performing measurements and quantity calculations and preparing pay estimates\n Assisting with project report preparation\n Performing field inspection, documentation, and survey work\n Some technical research and writing\n Other tasks as assigned.\n \nA valid driver's license, the ability to pass background checks to gain access to airport sites, and frequent travel to construction project sites 75%-100% of the time will be required.\n \nSuccessful candidates must have completed at least two semesters of college-level coursework in civil engineering or related field from an accredited college or university by date of hire.\n \nThe ideal candidate will have experience with any/all the following: \n\n Construction field experience including observation and documentation\n Previous internships involving construction, DOT projects, surveying and/or civil site inspections\n Experience with AutoCAD, Microsoft Office and Civil3D software\n Understanding of basic grading and testing processes\n Knowledge of airport planning and/or design\n Survey tasks\n* Civil/survey engineering coursework\n \nIf you have strong communication and organizational skills, are self-motivated, and can work well both independently and as part of a team, complete the online application process for this job posting at www.meadhunt.com/careers. \n \nEmployment is contingent upon successful completion of applicable pre-employment screening requirements.\n \nAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, protected veteran status, or disability.\n \n#LI-LB1\n\n
