Construction Controller - Dallas

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Financial Controller to oversee financial activities in the construction industry in Dallas. The ideal candidate will be responsible for budget management, financial analysis, payroll, forecasting, and overseeing financial controls and reporting.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA certification is a plus
- Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar role in the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting
- Experience with construction-specific accounting software
- Excellent analytical and leadership skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures for the construction company
- Monitor and analyze financial data to improve profitability and efficiency
- Prepare financial statements, reports, and forecasts
- Oversee payroll processing and ensure compliance with tax regulations
- Manage cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors
- Provide financial analysis and recommendations to senior management to support decision-making
