    Description

    Job Summary:

    We are seeking a reliable and experienced Construction Crew Lead to oversee daily operations on construction sites and ensure that projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, hands-on construction experience, and the ability to manage a team of skilled and unskilled workers effectively.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of the construction crew on-site.

    • Assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure work is completed according to plans and specifications.

    • Enforce safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment at all times.

    • Communicate effectively with subcontractors, suppliers, and site managers.

    • Conduct daily site inspections to monitor productivity and quality standards.

    • Troubleshoot and resolve issues as they arise to avoid project delays.

    • Maintain accurate records of labor, materials, and project milestones.

    • Train and mentor new crew members to uphold performance and safety standards.

    • Ensure tools and equipment are properly maintained and used safely.

    Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or technical certifications preferred.

    • 5+ years of experience in construction, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role.

    • Solid understanding of construction methods, materials, tools, and equipment.

    • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.

    • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

    • Knowledge of OSHA regulations and other relevant safety standards.

    • Physical stamina and the ability to work outdoors in varying conditions.

    • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Bilingual (e.g., English/Spanish)

    • Experience with scheduling software or construction management tools

    • CPR/First Aid or OSHA 30 certification
