Construction / Demo & Renovation Worker — Job Description

Position: General Construction Laborer (Demo & Renovation) 

Location: New Jersey  

Staff Provided: Skilled & non‑skilled labor

Overview

Our Construction Labor Workers support demolition, renovation, and general construction projects. Associates assist site supervisors, maintain safe work areas, and complete hands‑on tasks required to keep projects moving efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Demolition Work — Removing drywall, flooring, fixtures, debris, and preparing spaces for renovation
• Renovation Support — Assisting carpenters, painters, and trades with material handling and site prep
• General Labor — Loading/unloading materials, staging equipment, sweeping, and maintaining clean work zones
• Tool Handling — Operating basic hand tools (hammers, pry bars, drills, saws)
• Safety Compliance — Following OSHA guidelines, wearing PPE, and reporting hazards

Requirements

• Ability to lift 50–75 lbs
• Comfortable working in active construction environments
• Reliable transportation to job sites
• Prior demo/renovation experience preferred but not required
• PPE required (hard hat, gloves, boots, vest)

Pay Rate $20.00 to $25.00 / Per Hour
