Our client is adding a recruiter to their internal team to take on a growing list of open positions across engineering, project delivery, and field operations. This is a hands-on seat with real volume, direct access to the leaders making hiring decisions, and a desk that is expanding into new markets. The right person likes moving fast, knows how to find people who are not actively looking, and would rather sit down with a hiring manager than send another email.

• Job Type: 6-month Contract
• Location: Fountain Valley, CA
• Compensation: This job is expected to pay about 45/hour
• No Visa Sponsorship Available for this role. NO C2C

What You’ll Do:

• Manage 14 to 20+ open requisitions across estimating, project management, project engineering, design engineering, scheduling, detailing, structural engineering, safety, and purchasing
• Source and screen candidates across multiple markets, primarily Southern and Northern California, with Colorado and Tennessee coming as the business grows
• Partner face to face with hiring managers, calibrating on requirements and keeping candidates moving
• Build pipelines for the harder searches where the talent pool is narrow and the usual postings do not work
• Keep every search organized and visible so leadership always knows where things stand

What Gets You the Job: 

• At least 2 to 3 years recruiting construction or mechanical engineering roles such as estimators, project managers, project engineers, and design engineers
• Experience carrying 15 to 20 open requisitions at once without letting searches go quiet
• Strong sourcing skills, including finding passive candidates in markets outside your own
• Comfort working onsite and communicating directly with hiring managers and senior leadership
• Flexible on systems, since no specific ATS experience is required
