Each company is growing its estimating team, and each role has a real path forward, including senior estimating, department leadership, and division leadership.
Electrical Estimator / Senior Electrical Estimator | Cleveland, OH | $75K – $140K
- Union electrical contractor with a history going back more than 140 years. Work spans commercial and industrial markets, including healthcare, higher education, banking, and industrial.
- Manage about 5 bids at a time, mostly hard bid, with a growing design-build side
- 5+ years of estimating for the regular role, 10+ for Senior. Accubid and low-voltage commercial experience preferred.
Project Manager / Estimator – Mechanical | Rochester Hills, MI | $100K – $140K
- Commercial HVAC and mechanical contractor: replacements, tenant improvements, design-build, controls, and service projects ($600K – $800K typical)
- About 30% estimating and 70% project management, leading a team of HVAC techs and installers
- 5+ years of commercial mechanical estimating and PM experience. Profit share plus discretionary bonus.
Estimator – Heavy Civil / Earthwork | Huntington, IN | $120K – $135K
- Site development and excavation contractor bidding $0.5M – $4M commercial and industrial projects
- Dirt quantity and pipe takeoffs, vendor pricing, and estimate builds in Excel and Agtek
- 10+ years of construction experience with strong earthwork and excavation estimating. Company vehicle for site visits.
Senior Estimator – Commercial GC | Wood Dale, IL (Chicago area) | $120K – $130K
- 100% employee-owned commercial general contractor with a long history in Chicago and a promote-from-within culture
- Own bids start to finish (about 2 per week): takeoff, sub solicitation, scope leveling, and bid assembly
- 10+ years of commercial estimating, strong Excel, and Bluebeam. ESOP shares granted at up to 25% of salary each year.
