• Review project plans, drawings, and specifications to identify labor, material, and equipment needs.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates that support project planning and budget discussions.
• Request and compare pricing from subcontractors and suppliers to build accurate estimates.
• Measure quantities from construction documents and organize pricing information clearly.
• Identify cost risks, scope gaps, and assumptions for each estimate.
• Work with construction team members to clarify project requirements and estimate details.
• Update estimates when project scope, pricing, or construction documents change.
• Maintain organized estimate files and supporting documentation for project review.
