BDI Marine Contractors, LLC is a leader in marine and civil construction across Florida. We specialize in seawalls, bridge repairs, grading, concrete, and other infrastructure projects. Our team is dedicated to delivering high-quality work with safety, efficiency, and professionalism.
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Foreman to oversee daily job site operations, coordinate crews, and ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and according to safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, hands-on construction knowledge, and the ability to effectively manage people and resources.
Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate daily work activities of crews on assigned projects
Enforce safety procedures and ensure OSHA compliance at all times
Read and interpret plans, specifications, and drawings
Monitor progress and adjust schedules as needed to meet deadlines
Communicate with Project Managers, Superintendents, and subcontractors
Ensure materials and equipment are available and properly used
Conduct daily job site meetings and maintain detailed reports/logs
Train and mentor crew members to improve performance and efficiency
Qualifications
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in construction, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
Strong knowledge of marine and/or civil construction preferred
Ability to read and understand blueprints and project plans
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Must be able to work outdoors in varying conditions
