Construction Litigation Attorney: Hands-On Construction Disputes in Downtown Pittsburgh

Our client, an established Pittsburgh firm with a busy construction group, is seeking a Construction Litigation Attorney with 3+ years of experience for its downtown office. The group represents contractors, subcontractors, developers, and owners in construction defect, payment, mechanics' lien, bond, and delay claims.

This is an in-office role in Pittsburgh, close to the courthouse and the firm's clients.

What You'll Do

• Handle construction disputes from pre-suit investigation through trial or arbitration
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and lien and bond claim documents
• Take and defend depositions of project personnel and experts
• Work with consultants and experts on defect, schedule, and damages issues
• Advise clients on risk, contract rights, and resolution strategy

What We're Looking For

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Active member of the Pennsylvania Bar in good standing
• 3+ years of construction litigation or civil litigation experience
• Strong research, writing, and case management skills
• Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines
• Commitment to working in office in Pittsburgh
