Construction Manager

Our client is a vertically integrated Chicago-based developer known for transforming urban neighborhoods through high-profile multifamily and mixed-use projects, offering the opportunity to lead complex developments from vision through delivery.

Job Description

Manage all phases of construction projects, from initial planning to final delivery. Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure project specifications are met. Monitor budgets, timelines, and resources to keep projects on track. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes. Oversee procurement of materials and equipment needed for projects. Lead and manage on-site teams to maintain productivity and quality standards. Provide regular updates and reports to stakeholders regarding project progress. Address and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during construction.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Construction Manager should have: Experience managing construction projects from start to finish. Strong understanding of construction processes, safety regulations, and building codes. Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and resources effectively. Excellent communication and leadership skills to coordinate teams and stakeholders. Problem-solving skills to address challenges during project execution.
