Construction Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage transportation construction projects from start to finish.

• Lead and coordinate construction staff and subconsultants to maximize efficiency and project success.

• Support business development efforts, project pursuits, and client engagement.

• Develop and implement quality control, safety plans, and project schedules.

• Prepare reports, conduct progress meetings, and monitor staff performance.

• Ensure all work complies with applicable standards, codes, and project specifications.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) required.

• Minimum of 15 years experience in construction management with agencies such as IDOT, Tollway, CDOT, counties, or municipalities.

• Strong knowledge of transportation construction processes, standards, and quality regulations.

• Proficient in business and engineering software applications.

• Excellent leadership, team management, communication, and project management skills.
