Construction - Medical Superintendent

• Oversee daily construction activities on medical project sites to keep work moving according to plan.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and site personnel to support timely project delivery.
• Monitor project schedules and address site issues that may affect planned work.
• Review completed work for alignment with project plans and quality expectations.
• Maintain a safe jobsite by reinforcing site safety practices with project teams.
• Communicate project updates, progress, and site needs with construction stakeholders.
• Track site materials and equipment needs to help prevent delays in field operations.
• Document daily site activity, progress, and key project updates.

A successful Construction - Medical Superintendent should have:

• Familiarity with ICRA (Infection Control Risk Assessment) protocols
• Experience managing construction within occupied healthcare facilities
• Experience coordinating phased renovations while maintaining facility operations
• Ability to successfully manage construction activities in sensitive, occupied environments while demonstrating professionalism, empathy, and respect for building occupants, visitors, and staff.
• Experience overseeing construction work on active project sites.
• Experience coordinating subcontractors, vendors, and field teams.
• Ability to manage daily site activities and maintain project schedules.
• Knowledge of construction drawings, site plans, and project documentation.
• Ability to identify field issues and communicate practical solutions.
• Experience maintaining jobsite safety practices.
