Take the next step in an on-site role supporting real-world construction operations in Maspeth, NY, where your organization and follow-through directly keep projects moving. In this Construction Office Administrator opportunity, you’ll work closely with the owners and General Manager while managing day-to-day office needs, permits coordination, and key administrative support.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Construction Office Administrator position include:
- Previous office administration experience preferred; construction industry experience is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Organized, proactive, professional, detail-oriented, and a team player who can prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities independently.
- Support daily office operations, including handling phones, visitors, filing, and mail.
- Coordinate permits and Code 53 requirements, including submission and follow-up.
- Schedule trucks and job-site deliveries and communicate with drivers, vendors, and field personnel.
- Support owner correspondence by preparing emails, managing scheduling, and following up on outstanding tasks.
- Assist with accounting paperwork, including organizing invoices and supporting month-end closing.
Salary: $65,000-$70,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
