Title: Construction Operations Manager

Duration: Permanent/Direct-Hire
Pay: $110,000 – $150,000 + bonus

We’re seeking an experienced Construction Operations Manager to play a key leadership role in coordinating projects, streamlining processes, and driving operational excellence for a growing specialty construction company.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in construction management, building envelope systems, building sciences, or commercial restoration who wants to leverage their technical knowledge and operational expertise to make a company-wide impact.

The Opportunity

You’ll serve as the operational hub connecting project management, estimating, purchasing, accounting, and field leadership—ensuring projects are properly planned, resourced, and positioned for success.

This is an office-based leadership role, focused on operational strategy, project coordination, process improvement, and accountability rather than day-to-day field supervision.

What You’ll Do

• Drive Project Execution: Oversee operational coordination from project award through closeout, ensuring seamless handoffs, effective planning, and consistent progress.
• Optimize Resources & Logistics: Coordinate purchasing, material procurement, equipment needs, scheduling, and project readiness to minimize delays.
• Strengthen Operational Performance: Monitor project schedules, labor budgets, production goals, and outstanding deliverables across multiple active projects.
• Lead Cross-Functional Coordination: Partner with project managers, estimators, purchasing teams, and field leadership to resolve challenges and keep projects moving.
• Improve Systems & Processes: Develop standardized workflows, reporting tools, dashboards, and operational procedures that increase efficiency and accountability.
• Leverage Technology: Utilize construction management software, automation, and AI tools to improve visibility, communication, and decision-making.

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in construction management, construction operations, or project management.
• Strong understanding of commercial construction, ideally involving building envelope systems, building sciences, exterior restoration, waterproofing, roofing, or specialty construction.
• Experience coordinating multiple projects, managing procurement and logistics, and tracking schedules and budgets.
• Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, and project scopes.
• Proficiency with construction management software, Excel, and digital project tracking tools.
• A proactive, solutions-oriented leader who thrives on organization, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Bonus Points: Experience implementing operational improvements, developing reporting systems, or leveraging AI and automation to streamline construction processes.
