Description
Construction Project Engineer – Hyperscale Data Centers (Traveling)
We are seeking a Construction Project Engineer with experience supporting the construction of ground-up hyperscale data centers. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to accelerate their career while working on some of the largest and most technically advanced projects in North America.
This is a 100% travel position. Project Engineers are expected to relocate to active project sites for extended durations, often in remote locations, as projects progress. If you're motivated by challenging work, career growth, and industry-leading compensation, we'd love to hear from you.
Responsibilities
Support Project Managers and Superintendents throughout all phases of construction.
Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and field operations to keep projects on schedule.
Assist with RFIs, submittals, change orders, meeting minutes, and project documentation.
Track project schedules, budgets, procurement, and material deliveries.
Monitor quality control and ensure work complies with contract documents and specifications.
Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, and trade partners.
Participate in project meetings and maintain accurate reporting.
Assist with project closeout, punch lists, and turnover documentation.
Promote and maintain a strong safety culture on every jobsite.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
2+ years of experience supporting ground-up commercial, industrial, mission-critical, or data center construction.
Prior experience on hyperscale data center projects is strongly preferred.
Strong understanding of commercial construction processes and project documentation.
Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or similar construction software is a plus.
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced construction environment.
Travel Requirements
Willingness to travel nationwide and remain on assigned project sites for extended periods.
Comfortable working in remote project locations.
Flexibility to relocate from project to project as business needs dictate.
