Project Manager
My client is a general contractor that has operated in the Greater Milwaukee area since 1967. They build all projects on a negotiated basis, primarily with repeat clients. They are looking to hire a project manager to help expand their client base and manage an existing workflow of projects. They offer some of the best benefits in Wisconsin, full autonomy over their work and schedule, and annual bonus potential up to $50,000 annually.
Project Portfolio - Commercial, Industrial, Higher Education, healthcare clinics
Project Locations - all within 90 minutes of downtown Milwaukee
Workflow - Project managers own projects from design phase through closeout
Delivery - All work is negotiated, 90% repeat business

Job Description
Manage construction projects from preconstruction to close
Assure all projects are built to drawings and specification
Create master schedule and forecast financial performance against budget and schedule
Assure all materials orders are executed
Maintain schedule and meet deadlines
Work alongside and communicate with sub contractors to move projects forward
Ensure site superintendents maintain clean and safe sites

The Successful Applicant
Minimum of 5 years of experience in the Construction field - ideally 7-10 years
Proven track record of managing commercial remodel or ground up projects
Estimating experience on commercial construction projects strongly preferred
Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Finance, or Business Management preferred
Knowledge of Procore construction management software
Proficient in the entire Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Project)
Proven track record of effectively and efficiently managing projects
Strong management ability

A competitive base salary between $110,000-$150,000
