Description
HEAPY Solutions continues to grow — and we’re looking for a Construction Project Manager with a mechanical focus to support projects in our established Indianapolis market. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their construction career who’s eager to learn, grow, and gain hands-on experience managing MEP infrastructure projects alongside an experienced team.
Does this sound like you?
- Are you early in your construction career and excited to grow into a project management role?
- Do you have a background or interest in mechanical systems (HVAC, piping, etc.)?
- Do you enjoy being on-site, learning by doing, and seeing projects come to life?
- Are you organized and detail-oriented, with strong communication skills?
- Do you thrive in a collaborative, team-focused environment?
If so, this is your opportunity to build your career with a forward-thinking company grounded in our Colleague First Values.
What You’ll Do
- Support the full project lifecycle for MEP construction projects (typically up to $1M), with a focus on mechanical systems
- Learn to manage project scope, schedule, budget, and quality with guidance from senior team members
- Serve as an on-site point of contact, helping coordinate communication between clients, contractors, and project teams
- Assist with project planning, documentation, and coordination of tasks across teams
- Support on-site supervision of construction activities, including equipment switchover work
- Help ensure projects meet safety, quality, and compliance standards
- Participate in project meetings, site visits, and inspections to monitor progress
- Deliver a Superior Client Experience while developing project management skills
This role is highly field-based:
- Year 1: Full-time, up to 5 days/week on-site in West Lafayette, Indiana
- After Year 1: Supporting projects across Central Indiana, with a home base in Indianapolis
This is more than an entry-level PM role — it’s a hands-on opportunity to learn the business, gain field experience, and grow into a future project leader.
