Our client is a well-established NYC public works general contractor specializing in SCA, DDC, NYCHA, DASNY, and other agency-funded projects. They have built a reputation for delivering complex renovations and capital improvement programs in occupied educational environments while maintaining strong relationships with public-sector stakeholders.
Job Description
As a Construction Project Manager | NYC SCA Projects you will:
- Manage SCA construction projects from award through closeout.
- Oversee project schedules, budgets, subcontractors, procurement, and compliance requirements.
- Coordinate with SCA representatives, consultants, architects, and field personnel.
- Lead project meetings and provide regular progress reporting.
- Review RFIs, submittals, change orders, and contract documentation.
- Ensure adherence to SCA regulations, safety standards, and project specifications.
- Monitor project financial performance and maintain accurate forecasting.
- Support successful project turnover and completion.

The Successful Applicant
A successful Construction Project Manager | NYC SCA Projects should have:
- 5+ years of Project Management experience with a general contractor.
- Demonstrated experience managing NYC SCA projects.
- Strong understanding of public-sector construction procedures and documentation.
- Experience with occupied renovations, school facilities, and agency coordination.
- Knowledge of scheduling, budgeting, change management, and contract administration.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, or similar construction software preferred.
