Construction Project Manager

Oxford Solutions is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager for an opportunity with a client in the commercial construction industry. This role requires a hands-on professional who can successfully manage multiple construction projects simultaneously, overseeing schedules, budgets, subcontractors, and overall project execution.

The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable managing projects from pre-construction through completion.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple commercial construction projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and cost-effective completion.
• Oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource coordination.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.
• Coordinate subcontractor activities, contracts, purchasing, and material procurement.
• Monitor project progress, resolve issues, and manage change orders.
• Track project costs, review invoices, and maintain budget controls.
• Conduct project meetings and coordinate with field personnel to keep projects on schedule.
• Oversee project closeout, including inspections and final documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Experience managing commercial construction projects, preferably across multiple projects at once.
• Background in commercial building construction, renovations, or ground-up projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction scheduling, cost control, subcontractor management, and project coordination.
• Ability to prioritize competing deadlines and manage multiple projects effectively.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and construction project management software.
• Experience with construction estimating or accounting software is a plus.
