About the Role
Paul Davis Restoration of Portland / Vancouver is seeking a Restoration Construction Project Manager to lead residential and commercial restoration projects from start to finish. This role is responsible for driving projects forward—coordinating teams, managing budgets and schedules, and ensuring work is completed to a high standard.
This position is ideal for a construction professional who takes pride in ownership, values clear communication, and performs well in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.Compensation for this position includes a base salary plus performance-based commissions. 
Why This Role MattersRestoration projects often begin during stressful and unexpected situations for property owners. As a Project Manager, you provide leadership, organization, and clear communication that keeps projects moving efficiently and clients informed. Your work directly impacts project outcomes, customer satisfaction, and the success of our reconstruction operations. 
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage restoration construction projects from initial scope through final completion
  • Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, inspections, and material deliveries
  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules and timelines
  • Review estimates and collaborate with estimators on supplements and change orders
  • Monitor budgets and maintain expected gross margins
  • Communicate proactively with clients, setting clear expectations throughout the project
  • Ensure compliance with building codes, safety standards, and company policies
  • Maintain professional jobsite conditions, including quality, safety, and cleanliness
  • Address and resolve customer concerns with professionalism and urgency
  • Oversee punch list completion and project closeout documentation
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of construction project management experience
  • Strong knowledge of construction practices, building codes, and permitting processes
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills
  • Client-focused mindset with sound judgment under pressure
  • Contract negotiation skills
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
