Job SummaryWe are a General Construction Contractor seeking a hardworking and reliable
Construction Project Manager to join our team here in Yorba Linda, CA. The right candidate will have well-rounded knowledge of all areas of construction: drywall, electrical, rough framing, tile laying, etc. As well as Multi-Family Housing, Commercial, Ground Up Construction, Renovations, Tenant Improvements, Insurance, Service/Maintenance Work Orders, etc. Wages are dependent on experience, to be discussed during interview.
Responsibilities - Manage all aspects of the construction project
- Coordinate with other construction professionals to determine the specifications of the project
- Negotiate contracts with external vendors and suppliers
- Secure necessary permits and licenses
- Ensure all professionals on site comply with building and safety regulations
- Schedule key deliverables and milestones and ensure progress is being made
- Estimate costs and keep the project within budget
- Coordinate subcontractors and outside contractors
- Supervise and direct laborers and construction workers
- Report on progress
- Identify and mitigate any potential issues that may arise
- Making Schedule for Project with all trades
- Schedule Weekly Progress Team Meetings with Clients and Subcontractor's
- Have reliable transportation
- Be able to Organize projects and keep construction on schedule
- Read blueprints, scopes and understand specifications
- Be well experienced in Microsoft Office, and other programs to utilize for construction
- Demonstrate experienced communication skills to communicate with Vendors, Clients, etc.
- Be willing to travel to check on project progress
Qualifications- AA Degree or Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred
- Previous experience as a Construction Manager
- Deep understanding of construction management methods and processes
- Strong leadership and crisis resolution skills
- Familiar with Microsoft Excel and construction management software
- Ability to break large projects into small steps
