Construction Safety Associate (428)

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage site onboarding, new-hire safety orientations, and ongoing job-specific safety training.
• Coordinate and lead safety meetings, maintaining agendas, attendance records, meeting minutes, and action items.
• Conduct daily site safety inspections and assessments, document findings, and track corrective actions through completion.
• Identify workplace hazards and collaborate with project leadership and contractors to implement corrective measures.
• Investigate safety incidents, injuries, property damage, and process losses; perform root-cause analyses and prepare required reports.
• Maintain OSHA 300 logs, incident records, safety metrics, and required project documentation.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate site-specific safety plans, policies, procedures, and Job Safety Analyses (JSAs).
• Maintain hazardous chemical inventories and Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and ensure compliance with applicable OSHA construction and general industry regulations.
• Provide ongoing safety coaching and support to site personnel while assisting the Project Management Team with EHS requirements.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5+ years of direct EHS or related experience within construction
• OSHA 10, OSHA 30, and OSHA 510 Construction certifications.
• Current First Aid/CPR/AED certification.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, hazard identification, safety inspections, incident investigations, and corrective action procedures.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Procore, and safety documentation systems.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently.
• Cleanroom or pharmaceutical environment experience strongly preferred.
• Local candidates preferred.
