Construction Safety Manager

Kansas City, MO | Full Time, Permanent | $85,000 to $110,000

gpac partners with well established commercial mechanical contractors in the Kansas City market performing HVAC, plumbing and piping work on commercial and industrial projects.

About the Role

The Safety Manager leads the construction safety program across projects and field operations and is a visible presence on jobsites.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the construction safety program

• Visit active jobsites and conduct inspections, audits and hazard assessments

• Develop site specific safety plans, policies and procedures

• Lead orientations, toolbox talks and safety training

• Investigate incidents and near misses and track corrective actions

• Maintain safety records and regulatory reporting

Required

• Safety experience in commercial or industrial construction

• Strong knowledge of OSHA construction standards

• Experience with inspections, incident investigations and training

Preferred

• Mechanical construction experience

• OSHA 500 or a recognized safety certification such as CHST or CSP

Compensation and Benefits

• $85,000 to $110,000, based on experience
