CONSTRUCTION SITE SUPERINTENDENT(Permanent)
Our client, an established and well-known construction firm in WNY, is looking to hire a Construction Site Superintendent to join their growing team. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee onsite operations for complex construction projects
  • Create & maintain positive working relationships with subcontractors and crew members to ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget
  • Ensure proper measures are carried out to maintain safety and quality expectations
  • Travel to various job sites—mostly within NYS—to manage daily activities
  • Coordinate crews, material procurement, equipment, etc. according to project’s schedule
  • Ensure all project documentation/reports are up to date, accurate, and appropriately reflect each project’s progression
  • Communicate any delays with senior leadership to ensure appropriate adjustments are made to schedules, budgets, and deadlines
  • Collaborate with various internal and external team members to ensure plans are executed efficiently
  • Remain up to date on industry standards and regulations to ensure compliance is maintained at all times
  • Work well in a team environment, as well as independently
  • Other duties as assigned/as necessary

 

Details:

  • Position is full-time, direct hire
  • 100% in-office/on-site; travel required – mostly inside NYS – up to 60%
    • Company vehicle will be provided
    • Anything over an hour away, company will pay for hotel
  • $70,000 - $100,000 annually depending on experience
  • Full health coverage for individuals, employer-subsidized family plans, PTO (relaxed policy)
  • Associate’s in Construction Management is preferred
  • 5+ years' experience in Construction Field Supervision and/or civil construction
  • General Contractor or Construction Manager experience is a plus
  • Strong computer skills (specifically Excel & Word); Procore a plus
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Self-motivated and able to work well independently while contributing collaboratively within a team environment
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to manage multiple crews and sites
  • Ability to travel in NYS to projects: travel is approx.. 60% and you will be home on weekends
  • Relocation not available
