Key Responsibilities:
Project Management: Oversee heavy civil projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are completed on schedule, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
Field Personnel Management: Direct all field personnel, fostering a productive and safe work environment.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all safety, compliance, and quality regulations are strictly followed.
Scheduling: Create and manage comprehensive project schedules.
Budget Monitoring: Monitor project budgets and control costs effectively.
Client Communication: Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients and project managers regarding project progress.
Subcontractor Coordination: Organize and coordinate subcontractors and overall construction site activities.
Material Management: Order necessary materials and schedule inspections throughout the construction process.
Employee Recruitment and Training: Effectively recruit, train, and manage new employees.
Reporting: Prepare detailed daily reports and timecards.
Skills and Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent (preferred).
Leadership: Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
Technical Knowledge: Excellent understanding of project drawings, specifications, and regulatory construction standards.
Project Management: Proven ability to lead craft labor and subcontractors to complete projects on time and within budget.
