Job Description

Lead all field operations from project start through closeout, ensuring alignment with contract documents, project schedules, staffing plans, budgets, and overall execution strategy. Partner with Preconstruction teams on estimates, means and methods, sequencing, scheduling, and project planning. Manage project teams, subcontractors, and trade partners to drive successful execution, accountability, and timely completion. Oversee site safety, quality control, and compliance programs, including OSHA standards, project-specific safety plans, and environmental requirements. Maintain strong relationships with owners, architects, engineers, inspectors, and project stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration. Develop and manage project schedules using Critical Path Method and Lean Scheduling principles, proactively identifying risks and implementing recovery plans. Monitor procurement, material lead times, project documentation, and field coordination to keep projects on track. Conduct daily reporting, weekly safety meetings, and trade partner coordination meetings to maintain productivity and project alignment. Drive quality assurance through inspections, punch-list management, and adherence to contract specifications and industry standards. Implement process improvements to enhance safety, efficiency, productivity, and overall project delivery. Oversee project closeout activities, including final punch lists, turnover, and completion requirements.

The Successful Applicant

5-7+ years of lead Site Superintendent experience Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or related field OSHA 30 certificate or ability to attain it within 12 months of hire. Experience with education projects Experience with master scheduling Proficient in MS Office Platforms and Procore Strong communication skills Ability to work in a team environment Ability to influence, negotiate and drive project schedules Knowledge of all elements of commercial construction and understanding of skilled trades.
