Construction Superintendent - Facade & Public Works

We're looking for an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead public works and façade restoration projects across New York City. This is a hands-on leadership role with a growing contractor that offers autonomy, stability, and a clear path for long-term career growth.

Our client is a well-established NYC contractor specializing in public sector, exterior restoration, and façade rehabilitation projects. With multiple active projects throughout the Bronx, Manhattan, and Queens, they are experiencing continued growth and are seeking a Superintendent who can help drive successful project delivery in the field.

Description

• • Oversee daily site operations on public works and façade restoration projects
  • Coordinate self-perform crews, subcontractors, and project stakeholders
  • Monitor schedules, productivity, quality, and safety compliance
  • Maintain daily logs, progress reports, and project documentation
  • Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
  • Track project milestones and proactively address field challenges
  • Provide regular updates to project leadership and clients
  • Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within scope

Profile

A successful Superintendent should have:

• • 10+ years of Superintendent or Foreman experience within construction
  • Strong façade restoration and exterior envelope experience
  • Public works experience, ideally on NYCHA or similar projects
  • Ability to manage multiple trades and self-perform labor crews
  • Strong knowledge of construction drawings, sequencing, and field operations
  • Excellent communication, reporting, and organizational skills
  • SS62 certification required
  • Proactive leader with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
