Traveling Superintendent – Commercial Construction

Location: Nationwide (Candidates can reside anywhere in the U.S.) Travel: Required – Home approximately once per month

Overview A well-established commercial general contractor headquartered in Wichita is seeking experienced Traveling Superintendents to join their growing team. With a strong national project backlog, this opportunity offers long-term stability and the chance to work on a wide range of commercial construction projects across the country.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day field operations on assigned projects

Manage project schedules, subcontractors, and site safety

Ensure quality control and adherence to project specifications

Coordinate with project managers, clients, and stakeholdersDrive projects to successful, on-time completionQualificationsProven experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction

Background managing projects in one or more of the following sectors:HospitalityData centers Multifamily Commercial projects ($15M – $60M range)Additional opportunities available for those experienced in:Restaurants RetailLight commercial projects Willingness and ability to travel extensively

Compensation & Benefits

Competitive base compensation

Weekly per diem$600/month vehicle allowance
