Construction Superintendent - Municipal

Seeking a Municipal Superintendent to oversee ground-up and renovation municipal projects ranging from $15M-$30M, including facilities such as public safety, civic, and government buildings. This role will be responsible for managing all field operations, maintaining project schedules, and ensuring quality and safety standards are met from start to finish.

Description

• Oversee daily municipal construction activities on assigned project sites.
• Coordinate site schedules, crews, subcontractors, and deliveries to keep work progressing.
• Review project plans and specifications to guide field work.
• Monitor work quality and address site issues as they arise.
• Communicate project updates, schedule needs, and site conditions with project stakeholders.
• Track day-to-day construction progress against project schedules.
• Coordinate site meetings to align field activity and next steps.
• Maintain organized project documentation related to site work.

Profile

A successful Construction Superintendent - Municipal should have:

• Ground up experience of $15M projects
• Experience overseeing construction activities on active job sites.
• Experience coordinating crews, subcontractors, schedules, and material deliveries.
• Ability to read and apply construction plans and specifications.
• Experience tracking field progress and resolving day-to-day site issues.
• Clear communication skills for working with project stakeholders.
• Ability to manage competing site priorities in municipal construction work.

Job Offer

• Permanent Construction Superintendent
• Salary of $100,000 to $125,000.
