Position Overview

The Construction Survey Technician (CST) is responsible for executing precise field layout using advanced survey technology to translate coordinated models into accurate, constructible installation points. This role plays a critical part in ensuring project accuracy, safety, and efficiency on active construction sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform field layout using survey equipment and technology
• Verify and document layout points to ensure accuracy
• Identify and communicate site conflicts or discrepancies to the CST Lead
• Maintain survey equipment and adhere to all safety protocols
• Track progress, updates, and project blockers in Monday.com

Qualifications & Skills

• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
• Previous Trimble experience
• Basic knowledge of construction processes and job site operations
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Professional and dependable work ethic

Work Environment

• Primarily field-based role
• Regular exposure to active construction sites and varying weather conditions

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license (required)
• Prior construction field experience (preferred)
• Willingness to learn and use survey technology systems (preferred)
