EXPERIENCED CONSTRUCTION TECHNICIAN – DRYWALL SPECIALIST

EXPERIENCED APPLICANTS ONLY – NO ENTRY-LEVEL CANDIDATES


We are seeking a skilled Construction Technician who is highly skilled in hanging drywall (walls and ceilings), taping, mudding, sanding, finishing, and accurately matching existing wall and ceiling textures to achieve a seamless, professional finish, with a minimum of 10 years of relevant construction experience and advanced drywall proficiency.


This is a hands-on working position, not a supervisory or apprenticeship role. Candidates must be capable of independently completing professional-quality work without additional training. A hands-on drywall skills test will be required.


Required Skills


DRYWALL – PRIMARY REQUIREMENT


Applicants must demonstrate advanced proficiency in:

• Hanging and installing drywall on walls and ceilings.
  
  
• Professional taping, mudding, sanding, and finishing.
  
  
• Applying various drywall textures.
  
  
• Accurately matching existing wall and ceiling textures.
  
  
• Completing drywall repairs and patches with seamless finishes.
  
  

ADDITIONAL REQUIRED SKILLS

• Painting & Staining: Interior walls, ceilings, trim, and finish work.
  
  
• Finish Carpentry: Installing baseboards, casing, trim, and doors with precise measurements and clean cuts.
  
  
• Plumbing: Installing and reinstalling basic plumbing fixtures.
  
  

Additional Requirements

• Must possess and maintain the tools necessary to perform the required trades.
  
  
• Reliable transportation capable of transporting tools and materials to job sites.
  
  
• Ability to lift and carry up to 80 lbs., with or without reasonable accommodation.
  
  
• Ability to work independently, manage assigned tasks, and complete projects efficiently.
  
  
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to professional workmanship.
  
  
• Must successfully complete applicable pre-employment screening requirements, including a background check, insurable driving record verification, drug screening, and physical examination, consistent with applicable law.
