Consulting MD — Preventative Medicine

Schedule: Weekly Consultations | Flexible Hours | Contract

 

 

POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a knowledgeable and compassionate Consulting MD — Preventative Medicine to join The Good Seed team in Los Angeles, CA. This contract position supports care coordination efforts through clinical oversight and guidance, ensuring high-quality, culturally competent care for individuals with complex health and social needs.

The Consulting MD plays a key role in reviewing and approving care plans, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and supporting improved patient outcomes through coordinated, preventative care strategies.

 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide clinical consultation to support care coordination and service delivery

  • Review and approve individualized care plans to ensure medical appropriateness and quality standards

  • Collaborate with care teams to enhance patient outcomes and continuity of care

  • Conduct weekly consultations to provide guidance and clinical oversight

  • Ensure care plans are culturally competent and aligned with best practices

  • Stay current on preventative medicine and care coordination standards

  • Support interdisciplinary communication and decision-making

  • Perform other duties as assigned

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

  • Experience with Enhanced Care Management (ECM) programs

  • Background in preventative medicine, population health, or care coordination

  • Familiarity with California healthcare systems and guidelines

 

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This position operates in a remote or hybrid setting, supporting care teams across Los Angeles, CA. The role involves regular virtual or in-person consultations and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Candidates must be able to provide timely clinical guidance, maintain professionalism, and support a client-centered, culturally responsive approach to care.
